2010 Participants

For Religious of Holy Cross and Lay Associates

The purpose of the International Session in Holy Cross Spirituality (ISHCS) is to discover the roots of our common heritage as members of the Holy Cross, as well as plan for the future in light of this heritage.

Session Objectives:

  • To participate in conferences on the heritage and charism of Holy Cross.
  • To dialogue about key persons and their respective roles in the foundation of Holy Cross.
  • To reflect together on our spirituality and its application today.
  • To visit those sites which have significance relative to our heritage (Laigne en belin, Ruille sur Loir, the Solitude; the Church and Crypt of Our Lady of Holy Cross; the site where Fr. Moreau died; Montenay; the Holy Cross Cemetery; Precigne; chartres Yvre l’Eveque; La Grande Trappe, etc.)
  • To examine what is needed to make us more effective in mission for today’s world.

55 Brothers, Sisters, Priests, and Lay Co-Disciples participated in the 2010 ISHCS.  They gathered together from places like Peru, Burkina Faso, Brazil, Haiti, Bangladesh, Uganda, France and the USA.  ~See photos posted under Photo Gallery~
