St. Albert's Campus Ministers, organized a home mission experience in Greenwood, MS where accomodations were like "camping out" except it was indoors.

In the 4th grade the boys always, always won...that is until Dana, a member of the SELU soccer team , joined the girls' team. Yeeeesss...they won for the first time!!!!

Tall ladders and strong arms and backs are essential on this Mission experience. Houses were painted inside and out, a roof was replaced on the trailer of an elderly couple, and time was spent helping teachers at the school.

Closing night brought on "Flippin' and Twistin' " as Fr. Greg, OFM (Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi & Immaculate Heart of Mary Parishes) and Rosie danced while cooking burgers for the group.

Laughter, tears, stories and multiple thank you's were as nourishing at this, "the last supper" in Greenwood, MS.

Service with a smile in spite of aching muscles, scorching heat and mild sun burns...a job well done.
