In the spirit of their namesake, Blessed Brother Andre, CSC, the convent in Plaucheville is one of welcome and gracious hospitality.

Snow posponed the Advent Retreat, but those who did not get "the message" had a delightful morning around the kitchen table of the convent.

Sr. Joel Sperier takes the opportunity to answer a few questions about the MSC habit. "In the 1840's it was the basic dress of peasant women in France. The exceptions: the Seven Dolors heart icon, the dolor beads, and the bright blue cincture."
